About Me
Alex Geana was the senior fashion writer at Huffington Post, when the site moved beyond politics he was one of the first to write about culture for the now famous publication. As a blogger, Alex was one of the original vanguard to be accredited by IMG and allowed to report from the shows at Bryant Park. Since then he’s met countless of fashion designers and attended hundreds of runway shows.
His photography is in private collections and has been displayed in numerous galleries – from the Leslie Lohman to the Museum at FIT. Alex has been published across the web and has appeared in magazines and books.
During his almost obsessive hunt for the relevant “now”, he’s complied a lexicon of imagery and knowledge of fashion, culture and art. He pens Making a Picture in an effort to document his latest work and communicate his constant quest to push work forward.
